Make 2010 the year you stop smoking for good with the help of Corby Borough Council’s Stop Smoking sessions held every second Saturday from 30th January until 24th April at Mr Pickford’s Chemist, Spencer Court. From 10am to 12pm, residents can receive FREE nicotine replacement therapy and prescriptions which will be monitored closely on a week by week basis to help them fight their cigarette habit. The sessions are part of Corby Borough Council’s very successful health improvement programme, SWAP Your Lifestyle, which focuses on Stop smoking, Weight management, Active lifestyles and Practical cooking. In 2009, SWAP provided 30 stop smoking classes and drop-in clinics which helped over 400 people complete the government “4 week quit” target. |
